Yuri Mansur shines bright in Aachen: "Always keep believing..."

In the 1.60m CSIO5* main class in Aachen it was Brazil's Yuri Mansur jumping to victory after a Jump-Off. Mansur won the class aboard the 10-year-old mare Miss Blue-Saint Farm (Chacco-Blue).

Only five years ago Mansur and his trusted Vitiki had to forfait after an injury of Vitiki. "This shows you have to keep believing," says Mansur after his victory. "This is about life; you have to keep believing and trying."

A total of three combinations produced a double clear in this 1.60m course. Edouard Schmitz and the 11-year-old Gamin van 't Naasteveldhof (Chacco Chacco) followed, leaving compatriot, Martin Fuchs with Conner Jei (Connor 48) in a third place.

Both with one jumping fault, Gerrit Nieberg and Blues d'Aveline (Baloussini) followed in fourth and Richard Vogel with United Touch S (Untouched) placed fifth.
