The new WBFSH ranking was published today. BWP horse Equitron Naxcel V(breeder: Leo Vermeiren) makes a huge impression in this new ranking by jumping from 133rd to third place. Among studbooks, the Selle Français takes over the lead from the BWP.
For several months now, there has been a back-and-forth between the French Selle Français and the Belgian BWP studbooks in the WBFSH ranking, with the two alternating in the top spot. In the April ranking, the Selle Français takes over the lead from the BWP. The Oldenburg studbook ranks third, followed by the Dutch KWPN and the Belgian Zangersheide studbook.
Individually, Julien Epaillard's Donatello d'Auge (Jarnac x Hello Pierville, breeder: Susana Epaillard Garcia Cereceda) holds the top spot. Donatello d'Auge was also at the top of the individual ranking in 2023 and has now returned to number one. Vestamme des Cotis (Baloubet du Rouet x Landor S, breeders: Rudy Cock & Christine Cock-Leva) is in second place. Hans-Dieter Dreher’s mount was still ranked 244th last year.
Gerfried Puck's Belgian-bred Naxcel V (Kannan x Landetto) leaps from 133rd to third place this month. Breeder Leo Vermeiren also holds a strong position with Equitron Ornaat V (Ut Majeur de Brecey x Landetto) in seventh place.
