Bucci unbeatable in Grand Prix of Vilamoura

Also in Vilamoura, the day just ended with the Grand Prix. In this CSI3* Grand Prix four combinations were able to keep the zero in the basic course. Of those four, the Italian Piergiorgio Bucci was the fastest. He was the last to start and in the saddle of Carpe Diem J&F Champblanc (by Casall) immediately made firewood of the time of Breen, who until then had led. Bucci clocked off in 35.92 seconds, more than enough for victory.

Trevor Breen and Highland President (by Clinton) took home second place. They left the wood untouched and finished in 37.71 seconds. Alex Thompson completed the top three. He counted on Cathalina S (by Catoki) to jump a clear round in 37.90 seconds.

Celine Schoonbroodt-De Azevedo (Kheops de Bois-Mesange) and Lily Attwood (Calvaro's Up To Date) finished in places four and five.
