In St. Lo an international weekend was just concluded with the Grand Prix of the CSI4* competition. In this 1m55 high Grand Prix six combinations could keep the zero in the basic course. A jump-off with six had to give a decisive answer about the winner. That winner was the fast Frenchman Julien Epaillard. He could in the saddle of Billabong du Roumois (by Mylord Carthago) jump a clear round in 36.25 seconds.
Harry Allen and Guinness (by Nabab de Reve) finished in second place. They recorded a clear round behind their name and clocked off in 37.42 seconds. It was striking that only the top two could keep the zero. Wilm Vermeir was the fastest four-pointer. He rode Joyride S (by Toulon) in 38.76 seconds to the finish but got one fault behind his name.
Pedro Junqueira Muylaert (Pembroke 3) and Valentin Besnard (Beau Gosse du Park) completed the top five.
