She is the phenomenon of the moment in French equestrianism, the one everyone is talking about, the one to whom everything succeeds. Selected for the French team at the Officiel de France in La Baule last week, the rider Mégane Moissonnier continues her winning streak by winning the major event of the CSI 3* HUBSIDE JUMPING Grimaud-Golfe de Saint-Tropez today.
Associated to Bracadabra, with which the 24 year old woman went to the final of the French Master Pro Championship in Fontainebleau, Mégane Moissonnier is ahead of the French champion Pénélope Leprévost, riding GFE Candy de Nantuel, and the American Laura Kraut, Olympic vice-champion by team, who was riding the Selle Français Calgary Time, in this jump-off event presented by Hubside.Store.
CSI 3* - Jump Off - 1.50m (LR) presented by Hubside.Store - Mégane Moissonnier (FRA) & Bracadabra
"Bracadabra did very very well: he jumped super well. It was a course that I think was not huge compared to what we can jump here sometimes, but it was quite technical, very light, with faults on all the obstacles. Bracadabra finally won a test (laughs). We were close every time and today was the right one, so I'm very happy with my horse! Everything that's happened to me in the last few weeks is not a particular pressure: last week, in La Baule, I really wanted to show that I wasn't in the team by chance. I wanted to do well, and it went well. I just hope to continue on this good momentum, without stressing particularly. I'm not very prone to stress anyway."
