Dutch win CSIO4* Nations Cup Sopot! "Happy with the results. Both horses and riders deserved it!"

A week before the Longines League of Nations in Rotterdam puts pressure on the Dutch team, Jos Lansink and his riders in Orange jump to victory in the CSIO4* Nations Cup in Sopot!

Teamchef, Jos Lansink was satisfied with the Nations Cup in Sopot at the four-star level (obstacles at a height of 1.55m). "It was a good competition with a well-constructed course. The time allowed was very tight, which leads to mistakes being made more quickly. I'm glad we won. The horses jumped well, and the riders performed well."

With a total of three points, the Dutch team jumped to victory on Polish soil. Leopold van Asten and VDL Groep Iron Z (Charisma Z) proved to be the mainstays with a double clear round. For Mathijs van Asten and Sirocco (Balou du Rouet), as well as Dutch champion Willem Greve with Grandorado TN N.O.P. (Eldorado vd Zeshoek), the rails also stayed in the cups over both rounds.

However, both pairs struggled with the allowed time in the first round. Additionally, Henk Frederiks started with Impian D (VDL Bubalu).

The Dutch team thereby relegated Denmark to second place. The Danish team followed with a one-point difference over the German team!
