Lorenzo de Luca on point in 1.50m CSI4* Sentower Park

After a jump-off with ten competitors, only three pairs managed to perform a double clear round in the 1.50m CSI4* main event of Opglabbeek. Lorenzo de Luca led an international podium with his 15-year-old son of Verdi TN, Violino Il Palazetto.

De Luca and the 15-year-old Italian gelding stayed more than a second ahead of Michael Duffy with the 10-year-old son of Cascadello, Dublin. Jean Charles Grandmontagne secured an international top three with Generation Ixe (Cornet Obolensky).

Reigning Belgian champion Gilles Thomas proved to be the strong performer for the home crowd. Together with Elfra van Beek Z (El Salvador), the young rider stayed ahead of Simon Delestre and Dexter Fontenis Z (Diarado).
