Evelina Tovek steers Cortina 212 to victory in 5* Opening Class of Aachen

In Aachen, Evelina Tovek won the first 5* show jumping class. Riding Cortina 212 (by Contendro I), the Swedish rider was the best over the 1.45m course.

Tovek came in 38th out of 47 combinations and put herself at the very top in the saddle of 14-year-old mare. Their time of 60.26s was no longer improved and the trial win came in their name. Maurice Tebbel held German honors and claimed silver with Quasi Top (by Quasimodo van de Molendreef). The bronze was for Tovek's compatriot, Jens Fredricson on the back of Diarado's Rose Elith (by Diarado). 

Daniel Deusser was the very last to start on Narcos vd Smidshoeve (by Toulon) and dropped the gelding to four. Brazilian Rodrigo Pessoa concluded the top five with Quick Step (by Quintender 2).
