Francisco José Mesquita Musa scores main victory in Donaueschingen

In the 1.50m main class in Donaueschingen the Brazil anthem sounded after the finish. It was Francisco José Mesquita Musa who speeded to victory aboard Catch Me Imperio Egipcio (Contagio x Werther). The top three riders finished in less than a second from each other.

Former world number one, Steve Guerdat followed as runner-up with his 10-year-old, Albfuehren's Maddox (Cohiba). With only one tenth of a difference, Guerdat placed second, referring Denmark's Zascha Nygaard Andreasen and Quinn 33 (Quidam de Revel) to the third spot.

The pair was followed by Dutch Mel Thijssen with Florida Balia Nl (Bustique). Thijssen's compatriot, Jeroen Dubbeldam completed the top five with his Forever Sfn (Azteca VDL).
