  • by Equnews Editorial

This weekend the national Championships for Young Horses take place in France. Yesterday and the day before yesterday, it was all about the 4-year olds. In the class for 4-year old mares, it was Edouard Fiorce who jumped to the victory with Galaa la Marsa (v. Classic Bois Margot). He stayed ahead of Elliot Souster who rode Girl Power DK (f. Cera d'Ick) to the second place. Gibert Raya Marina and Galactee de Tivoli (f. Vagabond de la Pomme) completed the podium.

In the class for the 4-year old stallions, the victory went to Gino des Luthier (f. Giovani de la Pomme). He cleared the course under the saddle of Georges Picot Aurelien. Gautier Pistiaux rode the Vagabond de la Pomme son Ginko du Rouet to the second place. The third place went to Elodie Frotiee and Grabyfe (f. Quick Star).

Typical for the French Championship is also the class for non-Selle Français horses. The winner in this class was the Holsteiner Celtic du Lys (f. Casall). He jumped to the victory under the saddle of Pierre Gautherat. Enzo Chiarotto took the second place. He rode Karajan Sitte (f. Windows vh Costersveld) clear to the finish, taking the silver medal. Maybe de Brimbelles Z (f. Montender) completed the podium.
