Henrik Ankarcrona has been reappointed as the chef d'équipe of the Swedish team. He himself announced the news on his social media. He will stay until the Olympics of 2024 in Paris: "These four first years have been amazing, everything has gone really fast right from the sart. The European Championships in Gothenburg came up really quick and there was some extra pressure since we were competing 'at home'".
With Ankarcrona in the lead, the Swedish team jumped to the second place in the Europeans of 2017 and to Nations Cup victories in Rome, Falsterbo, Aachen and Hickstead.
