A very busy international weekend has just ended at the Sunshine Tour with the highlight of the weekend: the CSI3* Grand Prix. The jump-off was a real life thriller with one great winner: Gudrun Patteet.

Patteet was the fastest of 17 other combinations with her Sea Coast Kashmira Z (f. Kashmir van Schuttershof). They stopped the time after 33,92 seconds and was only an breath faster than Kayleigh Watts who ended on second place. Watts rode Ninke de Vy Z (f. Nonstop) to the finish line in 33,94 seconds; which was JUST to slow to take the victory from Belgium's leading lady.

Joseph Clayton ended on third place. He and the BWP gelding Like A Diamond van het Schaeck (f. Diamant de Semilly) jumped a clear jump-off in 34,49 second. Alberto Zori and Cinsey (f. Contendro) ended on fourth place with a time of 34,62 seconds. Roger Yves Bost (Castleforbes Vladimir) ended on fifth place.

Medium Tour Grand Prix

Earlier today the Irish rider Jennifer Kuehnle already won the Medium Tour Grand Prix. She cleared the jump-off with her 10-year old Arlo de Blondel (f Kassidi). Max Routlegde and Chicago's Boy (f. Carrico) followed on second place. They jumped a double clear in 37,49 seconds. The Swiss Martine Meroni and Fidelgo di Houssoit (f. Ksar Sitte) completed the podium.

Big Tour B 1m40

In the Big Tour 1m40 class, it was the Greek rider Marcelo Chirico Ferreira who took the victory home. He rode Acrobat van T Laar Z (f. Argentinus) to the finish line in 61,33 seconds, leaving the wood untouched. This was a speed class and it was definite that the Greek was very fast, since the rider who came in second, Jose Larocca, was 2,5 seconds slower. He and Vangoth des Besnards (f. Quartz du Chanu) finished in 63,67 seconds. Guide Klatte and Coolio 23 (f. Contendro) took the bronze medal after a clear round in 63,91 seconds.
