Super fast Epaillard unbeatable in Grand Prix Spring MET 2020

The second week of the Spring MET in Oliva has just ended. The highlight of a busy international weekend was the Grand Prix and once again Julien Epaillard showed everyone why he is one of the fastest riders at the moment. 

Epaillard was the fastest in a jump-off with 24 combinations and there was no way of stopping him! He rode the BWP gelding Edesa's Kzoom van de Wittemoere (v. Carbas vd Wateringhoeve) tot the finish line in 35,97 seconds, leaving all competition far behind. Harold Boisset ended on second place with Verone de La Roque (v. Kannan). This French combination cleared the course in 38,14 seconds. Jérôme Guery and Bco Milton Z (f. Mylord Carthago) took the third place on the podium. 

Maelle Martin (Come On Jumper) and Clem Mcmahon (Pacato) completed the top five. They ended respectively on fourth and fifth place.

1m40 GOLD

The victory in the 1m40 class went to the Belgian rider Axel Vandoorne. He rode Jacarta (f. Larino) to the finish in 59,57 seconds in this class that was ridden against the clock. The rest of the podiumplaces all went to France. Nicolas Delmotte and Citadin du Chatellier (f. l'Arc de Triomphe) ended on second place after a clear round in 59,82 seconds. Marie Demonte and Manchester (f. Quidam de Revel) jumped clear as well and finished in 60,27 seconds, resulting in a third place.

Giulia Martinengo Marquet (Clintana Lvp Z) and Marcel Wolf (Siella) completed the top five. 

1m30 GOLD

In the 1m30 class the victory went to the Ukrainian rider Anastasiya Bondarieva. She and her Selle Français gelding Tigrano (f. Gio Granno) cleared the course in 64,64 seconds. Virginie Thonon and Capucine de Maugre (f. Ensor van de Heffinck) ended on second place after a clear round in 64,69 seconds. Mathilde Pinault (Tabasco des Cabanes Tendercapital), Luiz Felipe Cortizo de Azevedo (Air Montain Z) and Victor Kumps (Lord Kaspar VD Toem) completed the top five.
