Harrie Smolders and Escape Z secure splendid victory at the Dutch Masters

The Dutch show jumping riders seem to be enthusiastic and motivated with the return of high level sport in their own country. After Leopold van Asten secured a home win in the 1.40m opening class, Harrie Smolders won the 1.45m class aboard his Escape Z (Emerald).

Nobody seemed to come even close nearby the time of Smolders and his 10-year-old son of Emerald. As last starter, Christian Ahlmann did his best to beat the first time but came short about four seconds, placing second aboard d'Aganix 2000 Z (Dominator 2000 Z). Dutch rider, Maikel van der Vleuten completed the stage with Eric Berkhof's Edgar (Warrant).

Earlier Roger-Yves Bost placed, to now repeat his form. The French rider jumped into the fourth spot aboard his SF-mare,  Bluemuch Des Baleines. Compatriot Simon Delestre completed the top five with Tinka's Hero Z.
