Jos Verlooy stays ahead of Wilm Vermeir in the 5* 1.50m class at the Royal Windsor Horse Show

It was a very exciting class at the Royal Windsor Horse Show in England on Saturday. In this CSI5* Longines Ranking class, the riders were challenged to complete the 1.50m high course over two seperate rounds. In the last and decisive round our Belgian's Jos Verlooy quickly set a time that no one else could beat anymore.

Jos Verlooy could count on Fts Killossery Konfusion (by Siec Livello) to put down a clear round in the winning time of 39.64 seconds. Wilm Vermeir entered the ring with Linguini de La Pomme (by Marius Claudius) as the last combination and finished in second place in 39.83 seconds. Steve Guerdat also made a creditable attempt to knock Jos Verlooy off his throne but eventually finished third with Dynamix de Belheme (by Snaike de Blondel) in 40.35 seconds.

Lorenzo de Luca (Don Vito) settled for fourth place. David Will (Quentucky Jolly) set the winning time of 37,99 seconds but had one pole down which ultimately earned him a fifth place.
