Sergio Alvarez Moya claims a home win in the 5* 1.55m/ 1.60m GCT Qualification of Madrid

In Madrid, the qualification for the Global Champions Tour was just held during the second GCL competition. Profits remained in their own country with Sergio Alvarez Moya rushing to victory. 

Sergio Alvarez Moya could count on Alamo (by Ukato) to set the winning time of 68.43 seconds and thus secure first place. Second place went to Hans-Dieter Dreher who secured the silver with Vestmalle des Cotis (by Baloubet du Rouet) in 70.14 seconds. Sanne Thijssen secured third place for the Netherlands with her trusty Con Quidam RB (by Quinar 2) in a time of 70.80 seconds. 

Olivier Philippaerts held up the Belgian honor, racing H&M Legend of Love (by Landzauber) to fourth place. Marcus Ehning and the legendary Stargold (by Stakkato Gold) finished fifth.
