Kevin Babington is one of six riders who will receive an award at next month's Horsepower Gala. Babington will receive a Lifetime Achievement award because of his contribution to improving the welfare of horses in America.
"His achievements in national and international show jumping are extraordinary," a spokesperson for the awards said. Babington is founder of Babington Mills, a company he founded to protect and improve the welfare of horses.
