In Vilamoura, a 1m40 class was the main number of the day. Eleven combinations could qualify for the jump-off. In that jump-off it was the German Marc Bettinger who drew the longest straw. He rode Uniqe d'Elbe (by President) clear to the finish in 28.06 seconds.
Kevin Staut finished in second place. He was also able to jump a clear round in the saddle of Aicha de Coquerie (by Corofino 2) and finished in 28.19 seconds. Laura Renwick was good for third place with Top Dollar VI (by Dollar du Murier). They jumped a clear round and clocked off in 28.63 seconds.
Lily Attwood (Cor-Leon vd Vlierbeek Z) and Guy Williams (Cirspina Z) completed the top five.
