On the French Riviera, there was also jumping at CSI3* level this weekend. In St. Tropez, the highlight of the weekend was on the programme on Sunday afternoon: the Grand Prix of the CSI3* competition. 34 competitors competed in this 1m55 high course and only three of them managed to clear the basic course without jumping or time faults. Remarkable: all these three horses were BWP riders. The victory came in the hands of Marion Trosset. The French rider gave the audience a home victory in the saddle of ILLI Nobili (by T&L's Deauville). The duo did it clear in 34.83 seconds.
Sadri Fegaier and Machester van't Paradijs (by Elvis ter Putte) took home second place. They were also able to record a clear round behind their name, clocking in 35.61 seconds. Eduardo Pereira de Menezes and H5 Kastelle Memo (by Thunder vh Zuuthoeve) completed the top three. The 14-year-old mare did not come close to the wood and clocked off in 36.20 seconds.
The top five was completed by Philippe Rozier (Dirty Sweet) and Michael Cristofoletti (Everst DR).
