Omar Abdul Aziz Al Marzooqi victorious in CSI4* Grand Prix of Montefalco

In Montefalco, Italy, an international weekend ended with the ultimate denouement: the Grand Prix of the CSI4* competition. Eleven combinations managed to jump a clear basic round. A jump-off with eleven therefore had to decide the winner. That winner was Omar Abdul Aziz Al Marzooqi. He counted on Enjoy de la Mure to record a clear round behind his name in 44.49 seconds. The rider from the United Arab Emirates thus stayed ahead of two riders: Laura Renwick and Celine Schoonbroodt-De Azevedo.

Renwick took second place. She was able to jump a nice clear round in 44.96 seconds in the saddle of Enjoy CK Z (by Eco van't Spieveld). Celine Schoonbroodt-De Azevedo completed the top three. She counted on the 11-year-old Deese des Embruns (by Mylord Carthago) to jump a clear round in 45.42 seconds.

Giacomo Bassi (Find Touch GR) and Dyaro Arroyave (Cas Final) finished fourth and fifth.
