European has kicked off his 2020 as the world number one show jumping rider. Fuchs succeeded in replacing compatriot, Steve Guerdat after Guerdat took in the number one spot for 12 months.
Apart from Fuchs taking over, there's not much change in the new Longines Ranking. Steve Guerdat has to settle as the new world number two rider and is followed by Mechelen's Worldcup winner, Daniel Deusser, holding on his third place.
Also Ben Maher holds on his spot on the third place while Peder Fredricson and Belgium's Pieter Devos switch places, leaving Devos in a sixth place.
The Belgium show jumping rider is followed by Elizabeth Madden and Darragh Kenny.
