It’s the first international show of the year and the horses are not in the usual routine yet. The course was hard and demanding – we saw 14 clear rounds out of over 70 competitors. Most people, including myself, rode the first line in 7 foulee, but I took a risk in the jump-off and rode one less. That’s when I gained the valuable one-second advantage. – said the winner, Michał Kaźmierczak.
Second place went to Dutch rider Maureen Bonder with Flierefluiter in 38,56 seconds, and Dawid Kubiak with Lavisto Star took third in 38,80. The 145 cm class saw 72 pairs on the course. 14 horse and rider combinations qualified for the jump-off, including 6 from Poland: aforementioned Michał Kaźmierczak and Dawid Kubiak, as well as Małgorzata Ciszek-Lewicka & Ici (6th place) Natalia Palmowska & Dr. Jones (7th), Weronika Minkiewicz & Chocolate Blue (13th) and Aleksander Lewandowski & Jazzmir van het Halderthof (14th).
