Youth Olympic Games 2022 in Aachen

Many riders dream of it but the youth riders who can qualify for the Youth Olympic Games in 2022 will effectively have the chance to ride on Aachen's legendary grass tracks.

The FEI received the green light from the IOC to organize a replacement jumping tournament due to the postponed Youth Olympic Games. From June 28 to July 3, 14- to 18-year-old riders can participate. Normally, the Youth Olympic Games would take place in Senegal but the Olympic Committee decided to postpone these Games until 2026 because of the Corona epidemic.

The FEI says it is "very pleased with the initiative. The youth is the future and therefore we must continue to support youth activities to inspire a new generation of athletes".
