No keeping Julien Anquetin from winning CSI4* Grand Prix Qualifier Sentower Park

Later today, the stallion auction is still on the programme of the Zangersheide International at Sentower Park but today's sporting highlight was the CSI4* Grand Prix qualification. Riders here not only competed for a place in the Grand Prix, there were also precious points for the Longines ranking to be earned. Eleven combinations managed to jump a clear basic round. A jump-off with eleven therefore had to be decisive.

Julien Anquetin was first to enter the ring with Z Ice Cube Z (by Zacharov). The duo immediately managed to set a thumping time: their time of 32.71 seconds would last until the end and give them the victory. Second place also came in French hands: Alexis Borrin and Embassy du Chateau (by Jarnac) went clear in 32.41 seconds. Robert Murphy came third in the saddle of Hulde G (by Vigo d'Arsouilles), ridden by Pieter Clemens in the past. The duo was able to keep the clear and clocked off in 32.52 seconds.

Jana Wargers followed in fourth place. She rode Corrie 9 (by Comme Il Faut) clear in 32.68 seconds. For his part, Lars Kersten took fifth place. He counted on 12-year-old Hallilea (by VDL Zirocco Blue) to jump a clear round in 33.09 seconds.
