Olivier Perreau tops French stage in CSI5* Grand Prix Valence

Eleven combinations qualified for the Jump-Off in the 1.60m Grand Prix of Valence. Eventually it was the last to start, Olivier Perreau, who speeded to victory. Long time it looked like, Gregory Cottard would win aboard Bibici (Norman Pre Noir x Nelfo du Mesnil). Eventually Perreau was the only to finish in under 37 seconds, winning aboard GI Events Venizia d'Aguilly (Diamant de Semilly x Quick Star).

The Grand Prix stage colored French with Simon Delestre in a third place with his son of Hugo Gesmeray, Hermes Ryan. The pair was followed by Italy's Lorenzo de Luca and Nuance Bleue Vdm Z (Nabab de Reve).

Mark McAuley and Cap West (Chacco-Blue) completed the top five.
