The highlight of a busy international weekend was just jumped in Sopot: The Grand Prix of the CSIO4* competition. This was a Grand Prix jumped in two rounds, the best 13 combinations from the first round were allowed to compete again in the second round. Ramzy Al Duhami, who had four penalties after the first round, decided not to start in the second round with his Untouchable 32 (by Val Helsing). The second round was thus limited to 12 combinations. In that second round, Zascha Nygaard Lill was able to record the fastest clear round behind his name. Riding Stanley (by Stakkato), she left the wood untouched and clocked off in 44.56 seconds.
This was by far faster than Damien Ancic who took second place with Santa Rosa Chabacon (by Chacco-Blue). The duo also managed to keep the clear and clocked off in 49.27 seconds. Poland's home rider Tomasz Miskiewicz and Velvet Lazar (by Verdi TN) also went clear. Their time of 50.25 seconds earned them third place, much to the delight of the Polish audience.
Mark Edwards (Rorale Tale) and Khalid Almobty (Diana du Plevau Z) finished fourth and fifth.
