Great Lakes Equestrian Festival Expanded to Seven Weeks in 2016

Stadium Jumping, Inc. announced today that the Great Lakes Equestrian Festival, held at Flintfields Horse Park in Traverse City, Michigan, will add three weeks in August to expand the rated circuit to a total of seven weeks. The dates for the 2016 show series will be as follows: July 6- 31and August 10- 28. "The inaugural season was very successful," said Matt Morrissey, manager of the Great Lakes Equestrian Festival. "The Traverse City area is a fantastic place to spend the summer, with unlimited activities and wonderful restaurants. The facility is top notch. We had many great reviews and heard from our local lodging partners that many were already making their arrangements for next year." The Great Lakes Equestrian Festival is set on 88 beautiful acres and showcases five world-class competition rings in addition to spacious schooling rings. The property features convenient on-site campgrounds, making for a truly unique attendee experience. With its gorgeous summer setting and wide range of classes, the 2016 Great Lakes Equestrian Festival is an event equestrians won't want to miss.
