This morning the Female Freestyle test influenced the standings of the European Championships Vaulting. In the Prize of VUV-Vereinigte Unternehmerverbände Aachen, Germanies Corinna Knauf Score a total of 8.578 points. Keeping her in the lead with a total of 8.456 points after the Compulsory and Freestyle test. Yesterday's number two, Switzerland's Simone Jäiser (Luk), had a minor slip down in the freestyle. Although her technical and artistic capacities were rewarded, Simone's horse, Luk got an off-day, resulting in 8.293 points. She is now the current number three. Austria's Lisa Wild (Robin 482) is jumping from a sixth to a second place with a total of 8.267 points. Wild made a very strong technical impression. Even better as Corinna Knauf. However the act was less artistic and also the horse didn't score as much. The provisional top five is completed by Christine Kuhirt (Fuzzy 17) and Daniela Fritz (Liberty 21). In de pas de deux it were Austria's L. Wacha & J. Lindner (Bram) who impressed the most. Compatriots E. Freund and S. Millinger scored a third spot and only had to let Germany go for. T. Jacobs and P. Engelberty had to be satisfied with a second place after collecting 8.536 points. Again it was not the artistic or technical aspect of the act, but the horse that got some minus points.
