5* win for Kendra C. Brinkop

The friday in Brussels was closed with a five star class over 1.55m. It was German showjumper Kendra C. Brinkop who could keep her head cool in the difficult build course and rode a flashing jump-off. To top it off, she rode home in her brand new Audi.

Stephex rider Brinkop was second to start the jump-off, after Peder Fredricson and Catch Me Not S (v. Cardento 933). Fredricson had a clear, fast round and set the time to beat on 40.71. Brinkop did better and jumped Do It Easy (v. Vigo Cece) to a clear round in 40.68. Eventually, no one could beat their time.

Pieter Devos jumped in the saddle of Claire Z (v. Clearway) to another clear jump-off, finishing third.

Only five riders were able to leave the wood untouched. One of them was Christian Kukuk and Nice Van'T Zorgvliet (v. Emerald), who ended in fourth position, followed by Jos Verlooy and Luciano van het Geinsteinde (v. Quinn van de Heffinck).
