In Hamburg, Germany the second qualifier to participate in the German Jumping Derby was just held. Participants were given a challenging 1m50 course against the clock Benjamin Wulschner made sure the victory stayed in Germany.
Wulschner was in the saddle of the fifteen-year-old Bangkok Girl PP (v. Balou du Rouet). Together they managed to clear the whole course and they were able to set the fast time of 91,14 seconds. Nobody was able to do better and so they won this 1m50 Derby qualifier.
Harry Charles and the KWPN-stallion Controe (v. Wender R) came pretty close to winning. They were clear as well but they were just a bit slower. Eventually they claimed the second place in a time of 92,61 seconds. Shane Breen completed the top three with Can Ya Makan (v. Canturo). His fellow countryman Mark Mcauley ended in fourth place with Miebello (v. Flyinge Quite Easy 958). The fifth place was for Germany as well thanks to Frederic Tillmann and Comanche VL (v.
