In Montefalco another busy competition day has come to an end. The biggest class of the day was the 4* Longines Ranking class over a height of 1m50 with jump-off. This class also counted as a qualification for the Grand Prix. The victory was for Brazil thanks to Bernardo Cardoso de Resende Alves.
Bernardo Cardoso de Resende Alves steered the BWP-stallion Mosito van het Hellehof (v. Elvis ter Putte) to the victory in a very fast way, winning the class in 33,79 seconds. Italy finished in second place thanks to Piergiorgio Bucci and Carpe Diem J&F Champblanc (v. Casall). They stopped the clock at 36,03 seconds. Luiz Cortizo Goncalves de Azevedo Filho completed the top three with Hermes van de Vrombautshoeve (v. Vigo d'Arsouilles).
Giacomo Bassi and Find Touch GR (v. Arezzo) finished in fourth place, before Francisco José Mesquita Musa and Carte de Blue PS Marathon (v. Cartoon 21) who claimed fifth place.
