In Drammen the CSI3* riders just entered the arena for the first time today. They got off to a start with a ranking class jumped over a height of 1m45. The Belgians became the big winners: they took the entire podium.
A jump-off with twelve had to decide on winner and loser. Bertrand Genin proved to be the fastest in the jump-off: he rode the 11-year-old Holiday de la Bouverie (by Clinton) clear round and stopped the chrono after 37.07 seconds. This put him ahead of Roy Van Beek, who took second place with Diamant de Quidam - H OLD (by Oldenburger). Van Beek steered his Oldenburger gelding clear through the jump-off, clocking in 38.28 seconds. Emilie Conter completed the Belgian party. She counted on Onslow de Roju (by Diamant de Semilly) to jump clear in 38.30 seconds which earned her third place.
Erika Lickhammer-Van Heldmond (Saratoga LW) and Clare Pezzoli (Fatasia de Beaufour) finished fourth and fifth respectively.
