Damsey FRH says goodbye to the sport on Saturday

Damsey FRH's (by Dressage Royal) freestyle kur during the CDI5* of Doha will immediately be Damsey's last performance. After that he will say goodbye to the sport. That is what his owner Louise Leatherdale, co-owner Jens Meyer and rider Helen Langehanenberg spontaneously decided.

"Of course we would have preferred that he say goodbye in Germany with a lot of audience, but I don't believe that will be possible this year," Langehanenberg said. "The organizers of the competition themselves came to me with the idea. I had to let it sink in first. The thought of where and when Damsey would say goodbye to the sport had been haunting my mind for a while and I am sure he deserves a farewell like here in Doha," she says.
