At the Live Oak International at Ocala, USA the CSI4*, $37.000 Longines World Ranking Competition came to a thrilling close. Seven combinations qualified for the jump-off in this four star 1.50m class. With only three double clears, the course seemed to be a challenge.
Ultimately it became a fight for victory between the Irish. In the end, it was Daniel Coyle who proved to be stronger than Bertram Allen today in this World Ranking Competition. Coyle could count on his nine year old Ivory TCS (by Falaise de Muze) to record the winning time of 34,32 seconds. Bertram Allen and Emmylou (by Billy Mexico) managed to stay double clear within a time of 35,58 seconds which landed them in second place. Andre Thieme and Conaccco (by Conoglio) completed the top three placings with a time of 37,10 seconds.
Paul O'Shea (Squirt Gun) came in fourth. Nicole Walker (Atout des Trambles) ended in fifth place.
