Daniel Deusser wins LGCT Grand Prix of Doha with Killer Queen VDM

The 1.60m-high Longines Grand Prix in Doha was a true clash of the titans. Only seven combinations qualified themselves for the jump-off. Last to go, Daniel Deusser and Killer Queen VDM, took the first place.

First to go in this jump-off was Max Kühner with nine-year-old Elektric Blue P (Eldorado vd Zeshoek). They set the tone with 1 time penalty. Marcus Ehning was faster with 15-year-old Funky Fred (For Pleasure). They set the time at 42.79 seconds, but had one rail down. Jérôme Guery, fifth to go, was the first one to go clear. With Quel Homme de Hus (Quidam de Revel) he crossed the finish line in 46.27 seconds. 

Nicola Philippaerts and Katanga vh Dingeshof (Cardento) followed and were two seconds faster. Daniel Deusser improved that time even more and won with 10-year-old Killer Queen VDM (Eldorado) in 42.54 seconds. Marcus Ehning finished fourth, Niels Bruynseels and Delux van T&L (Toulon) took the fifth position.
