David Will jumps to victory in King Georges V Gold Cup

The last class of the day in Hickstead was the King Georges V Gold Cup, which counts as a qualifier for the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo. David Will jumped to victory with Never Walk Alone (Numero Uno).

It was a hard course in which 6 combinations had to retire. Only 5 riders stayed clear in the first round and all of them did the same in the jump-off, but David Will was the fastest. Michael Duffy followed on the second place with Mullaghdrin Touch the Stars and Peder Fredricson jumped to the third position with Zacramento. Fredrik Jonsson and Luiz Felipe de Azevedo completed the top five.
