Dutch Equestrian Sports Federation bans all Russian and Belarusian equestrian athletes from equestrian events

The board of the KNHS decided today to exclude Russian and Belarusian participants with immediate effect from participation in equestrian events under the responsibility of the KNHS (national competitions).

Following the Dutch Sports Federation NOC*NSF, the KNHS endorses the call of the IOC to international sports organisations to immediately exclude Russian and Belarusian participants from participation in international sports competitions.

This call follows earlier decisions and advice of the IOC to stop organizing international competitions in Russia or Belarus. The board of the KNHS has expressed its disgust about the invasion of Russia into Ukraine and the involvement of Belarus in this and endorses the call of the IOC and NOC*NSF. Today the KNHS urged the FEI and EEF to endorse the IOC's call and to exclude Russian and Belarusian participants from international equestrian events.
