At the international horse show in Al Shira'aa, it was Italy's Emanuele Gaudiano who speeded to victory in the 1.45m Longines Ranking class. Aboard his 10-year-old Belgian Warmblood horse, Nikolaj de Music, Gaudiano was over three seconds faster as his follower.
Gaudiano and his son of Kannan jumped to victory in 59.71 seconds, leaving, Mohamed Shafi Mohamed Alremeithi with Caramba (Chin Win) on the runner-up position. The stage was completed by Shane Breen and the 15-year-old son from Carembar de Muze, Z7 Ipswich (ex. Ipswich vd Wolfsakker).
Breen was followed by compatriot, Jessica Burke and Express Trend (Future Trend). The top five was completed by Abdel Said and his trusted SF-mare, Arpege dur ru (Apache d'Adriers).
