Germany announces team for Barcelona Nations Cup final

The best 18 teams from around the world will compete with their horses at the Nations Cup Final in Barcelona on the first weekend in October. After three of the seven qualifiers this season were cancelled due to Corona, all ten teams from Europa Division I have now qualified for the final. However, this also means that one team from the First Division must be relegated.

In addition to European champion André Thieme and world number one Daniel Deußer, the national coach has also nominated veteran Christian Ahlmann, this year's EK newcomer David Will and 26-year-old former U25 jumping champion Kendra Claricia Brinkop, who has been living and training in Belgium since 2019.
