Very sad news from the Glock Performance Centre this morning. One of their top stallions, Glock's Zonik (by Blue Hors Zack) has unexpectedly passed away.
On their Facebook page they explain that Zonik was limping just before CHIO Rotterdam and had to have an operation on his hoof. The operation went very well, but afterwards he hurt himself so badly in his stable that he had to be put out of his misery.
Zonik, ridden by Edward Gal, participated in several championships. Hans Peter Minderhoud had meanwhile taken over the reins and was to ride Zonik in Rotterdam. We wish the entire Glock team the best of luck with their loss!
