With only eight combinations finishing clear in the 1.50m high jump-off, Henrik von Eckermann let Julien Anquetin behind with just two hundredths of a second difference. The World's Nr. 1 won in the saddle of Iliana (by Cardento).
The winning time of 36.01 was set by Henrik von Eckermann and Iliana (by Cardento). With only the smallest difference of barely two hundredths, Julien Anquetin had to settle for second place for the BWP'er Gravity of Greenhill (by Nabab de Reve). Wilm Vermeir hadEnola Gay of Two Notes Z (by Emerald) under the saddle. On the 10-year-old stallion, Vermeir went after von Eckermann's time but just didn't come close enough. The duo went home with bronze.
On four came Rolf-Göran Bengtsson defending the honors of his home country on Zuccero (v. VDL Zirocco Blue). For Dolinn (v. Cardento) this was not her first rodeo and the mare did outstanding, jumping to fifth place.
