Holly Smith wins CSI5* opener of Lyon

In Lyon, France, the CSI5* riders came into action for the first time just now. This evening the Longines Grand Prix is already on the program but in anticipation a 1m50 class in two phases was jumped. The victory went to Holly Smith. In the saddle of Fruselli (by Zambesi) he could jump a clear round in 31.26 seconds. 

Julien Epaillard and Solero MS (by Silvio I) took home second place. They were able to record a clear round behind their name in 31.43 seconds. Bryan Balsiger completed the top three. He rode AK's Courage (by Chepetto C) clear to the finish in 32.00 seconds. 

Jessica Springsteen (Volage du Val Henry) and Carlos Enrique Lopez Lizarazo (Everst DR) followed in places four and five.
