Horses and riders at the start of CSI5*-W Stuttgart German Masters 2022

With the Stuttgart German Masters, it is already the fifth round of the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup Western European League on the program this week.

On the start list we can spot the world elite of equestrian sport, who will gather together in the Hanns-Martin-Schleyer-Halle to give it their all. Among them are Henrik von Eckermann (SWE), Martin Fuchs (SUI), Steve Guerdat (SUI), Harrie Smolders (NED), Olivier Philippaerts (BEL), Scott Brash (GBR), Lorenzo de Luca (IT), and Kevin Staut (FRA).

For the organizing country, it will be Daniel Deusser, Marcus Ehning, Hans-Dieter Dreher, Michael Jung and Sophie Hinners, among others, who will jump their hart out.

The 2022/2023 Western Euoropean leages will include no less than fouteen CSI5*-W rounds in eleven countries, with the last round at the end of February 2023. Each rider's seven best results will determine the final ranking, of which the top eighteen from Eastern Europe will compete at the World Cup Finals in Omaha, USA, in April.

From 9 tot 13 November, not only a round of the Jumping World Cup will be on the agenda, also for Dressage and Driving there will be a World Cup competition.
