Jessica Springsteen beats Pieter Devos in thrilling GCT Grand Prix of St Tropez

She had to compete against 13 other grand riders in the jump-off of the GCT Grand Prix 1,60m of St Tropez, but US-rider Jessica Springsteen beat all of them aboard RMF Zecilie (Acolord).

Springsteen and her twelve-year-old RMF Zecilie (Acolord) jumped to the first place in 35,38 seconds. Just one other rider managed to stay under the 36-second mark: Kent Farrington and Austria 2 (Casall) finished in 35,88 seconds, but 4 penalties put them in the ninth place. Pieter Devos and Claire Z (Clearway) were the pair in second place in 36,4 seconds, half a second faster than Simon Delestre with Hermes Ryan (Hugo Gesmeray).

Colombian rider Carlos Enrique Lopez Lizarazo and Ulhane de Conde (Jarnac) finished fourth, Marc Houtzager and Sterrehof's Dante (Canturano) claimed the fifth spot for the Netherlands.
