The morning CSIO 5* class at La Baule a 2-stage class at a height of 1.45 meters, was on the program this morning and brought together some of the world's best riders and horses in an exciting competition. This class was the scene of impressive jumps, fast lap times and intense competition.
Julien Epaillard from France scored a great victory and took first place with Hoover. With a clear round and an impressive time of 24.56 seconds, Epaillard managed to outdo the competition and secure the victory.
In second place was Cian O'Connor from Ireland, riding his horse Germaine W. O'Connor showed a fast performance with a time of 25.82 seconds, but could not beat Epaillard. Gregory Wathelet of Belgium took third place with his horse Berline du Maillet Z, with a time of 25.94 seconds.
Finishing in fourth place was Brazil's Stephan de Freitas Barcha with Cheveaux Nutreal Hex Lup Imperio Egipcio and in fifth place was Petronella Anderson who started the bwp mare Odina van de Klapscheut and achieved a time of 26.61 seconds.
