Laura Kraut is currently on the US shortlist for the Olympics. Her favorite horse for Tokyo is the 11-year-old gelding Baloutinue (by Balou du Rouet).
Kraut plans to bring Baloutinue to the Olympics. Her sponsor bought the 11-year-old horse on April 9, they won the Grand Prix in Wellington together last Sunday. In addition to Baloutinue, she also takes her 14-year-old Holsteiner Confu (by Contact Me) with her. The Belgian horse Goldwin (by Emerald) is also going to join her in Tokio.
Before that, Baloutinue was ridden by Adam Prunet, Adam still competed with the horse at the beginning of April. Kraut claims she was lucky, Baloutinue was in salable all over the world, but the good relationship with the Prunet family allowed her to buy the horse with her sponsor. "I have a lot of faith in this horse, it is one of the best horses in the world, I still can't believe it, I am one of the happiest people in the world," said Kraut.
