Ludger Beerbaum: "I want to thank everyone who made this possible"

Ludger Berrbaum, President of the Longines FEI Jumping European Championship 2021 in Riesenbeck, held a press conference later today at the press office of the Riesenbeck International Centre to conclude the event. The press conference was also attended by Show Director Karsten Lütteken, FEI Jumping Director Marco Fuste and FEI Board Member Stephan Ellenbruch.

Ludger Beerbaum expressed his satisfaction with the outstanding success of the event; an event where the great atmosphere, the great sport, the selective courses as required at a championship meant that all the horses jumped well and there was in fact a very small difference in penalty points between those who qualified for the final.

Everything went perfectly thanks to the excellent work of all involved and the entire staff. Even the beautiful weather cooperated, allowing the audience to watch from the stands around the arena. Tickets were in high demand, but Covid rules limited entry to 3,250 people, in addition to the competitors and staff.
