Marlon Modolo Zanotelli races to the top of the CSI5* 1.60m main class of Al Shaqab

The CSI5* 1.60m main class of the Commercial Bank CHI Al Shaqab presented by Longines Doha just came to a thrilling close. With ten riders keeping the rails up in the first course, the jump-off consisted of an incredible line-up of world class riders. 

Marlon Modolo Zanotelli and Like A Diamond van het Schaeck (v. Diamant de Semilly) rode an incredible clever round and recorded the winning time of 41,43 seconds. Martin Fuchs came in second after a fast round with Conner Jei (v. Connor 48) in 41,92 seconds. Malin Baryard-Johnsson took third place with H&M Indiana (v. Kashmir Van Schuttershof) in a time of 42,98 seconds. 

Ludger Beerbaum (Cool Feeling) finished in fourth place. As the last rider to go in, Geir Gulliksen (Grandino H) raced to fifth place. 

The top ten placings were completed by the legend John Whitaker (Unick de Francport) in sixth place, Evelina Tovek (Winnetou de La Hamente Z) in seventh place, Henrik Von Eckermann (Glamour Girl) who rode the fastest time but had one rail down ended up eight, Olivier Philippaerts (H&M Miro) came in ninth place and ultimately Max Kühner (Eic Cooley Jump The Q) finishing in tenth place.
