Olympics uncertain for Arnaud Serre after fall

The French dressage rider Arnaud Serre fell on Monday and broke his arm. The injury makes his selection for the Olympic Games in Tokyo this summer uncertain.

Arnaud was riding when his horse stumbled and fell. The horse was fine, but Arnaud broke his arm during the fall. Arnaud was one of the French dressage riders who might be chosen to go to the Olympics, but that selection is now in jeopardy. Only three riders are allowed to go to Tokyo this summer. "These things are always inconvenient, but now it is very bad. I have to rest for six weeks, so it does not seem possible to participate in the Olympic Games", Arnaud told Eurodressage.
