The complete top three went to Germany. Stühlmeyer was victorious aboard eleven-year-old SF-gelding Varihoka in 39,13 seconds, beating compatriot Carsten-Otto Nagel with l'Esperance 2 (Lord Z) by 0,31 second. Harm Lahde sent Laith (Carembar de Muze) in 39,7 seconds to the bronze place. 

Rikke Haastrup and Casira (Casino) finished fourth for Denmark, Jaroslaw Skrzyczynski and Greatest (Biscayo) closed the top five for Poland.
